EPA Plans to Stiffen Water Pollution Limits on Coal Power Plants

The EPA is moving to strengthen water pollution limits on certain coal-fired power plants, according to a notice set to be published in the Federal Register.

  • The agency said it intends to propose a new rule in the fall, after considering whether more-stringent limitations and standards are appropriate for wastewater from steam electric plants
